GQ-3650 QAM Modulator is headend equipment with the professional broadcasting quality according to DVB standard. Its main function is modulating by QAM TS stream accorded to DVB and ATSC,and then transmitting via HFC or MMDS. The modulator converts input data stream up to DVB standard into Radio Frequency (RF) signals. The bandwidth is less than 8MHz in PAL system and the bandwidth is less than 6MHz in NTSC system. The signals according to DVB standard include MPEG-2 digital TV, digital broadcast, VOD, and other digital signals such as video conference, Internet and IP phone, which are up to DVB contribution protocol.

 

GQ-3650A QAM modulator applies to flexible frequency, GQ-3650B QAM modulator is used for a fixed frequency, and the GQ-3650C QAM modulator introduces Intermediate Frequency (IF).

 

GQ-3650 QAM Modulator is used in broad band digital application system such as HFC network, MMDS or 8GHz microwave-system. It not only transmit digital signals effectively, but also sends other digital value added services to thousands of families. GQ-3650 has the function of remote supervision and control.
