GQ-3691 is a headend equipment with the professional broadcasting quality according to DVB standard . Its main function is to directly convert signals which could be QPSK modulated from satellite to QAM signals, and then transmit via HFC or MMDS network. It doesn't need decompression, compress, QAM modulation but directly modulate data stream demodulated to QAM signal sending to HFC or MMDS network. Therefore, it carries out SDTV/HDTV service and so on, providing many digital TV programs and data broadcasting programs with low-cost in SMATV.
